Lithuania is the largest of the Baltic states, sandwiched between Russia and Latvia.
It's less than eleven years since the country got its independence from the USSR - the country is now working hard towards membership of the EU and NATO.

Angel The Uzupis Angel. Uzupis is a district of Vilnius, a self-declared state where "every dog has the right to be a dog".
